Lancaster Art Fair 2024 – Information and Application

Lancaster Art Fair 2024 will run at the Storey Gallery from the 20th-24th of August. We will host 15/16 artists and each will have their own wall space and areas for prints.

Lancaster Art Fair is intended to be a fun, interactive event for the people of Lancaster. A space where community can come together, connect with each other, see and buy work from our cities amazing artists and create! We want to make a vibrant, inclusive and exciting cultural event that can grow year on year, supporting local artists and creators right here in Lancaster.

2023’s Lancaster Art Fair ran at the Storey in July and was a resounding success. A total of 15 artists took part and we had many visitors of all ages from across the area. The interactive aspects of the fair were very well received and our community art wall became a great celebration of colour and creativity, it was lovely to see so many people taking time to create and look around the artworks and just enjoy themselves! The fair felt really inclusive and carried through on one of it’s founding aims – that Art should be for everyone, the atmosphere was very relaxed and there was much positive feedback from the artists taking part and visitors alike.

2023’s fair was advertised across: Lancaster Guardian, Beyond Radio, BID and Visit Lancaster Summer Event Listings, Social media Via @lancasterartfair and @thestorey. Flyer and poster drop off’s in surrounding areas such Garstang, Kirby Lonsdale, Arnside and Silverdale, Carthforth etc and around Lancaster City Centre and University sites. We intend on securing funding this year to increase our advertising scope.
